Hobby & Art

I think there are many people like me who enjoy picking stones. Every time I take a walk or go on an outing, I always look at the roadside and streams to see if there are any stones that I consider treasures. It's not the value of the stones themselves, but the first feeling I have after meeting them. When you hold them in your hand, caressing them feels like telling you how long and wonderful their adventures have been. I come from the plateau snow ridge, I come from the deep sea, and I was brought here by underground lava. Hello! I come from outer space…. Of course, I am also attracted by the appearance of those stones, with their beautiful colors and unique shapes standing out among the many stones and being taken home for collection. I am not a geologist or a gemstone collector, also I never buy stones. What I collect is the breath and harmony of nature, as well as memories from there.

Stone Art

I really appreciate online seeing some artists using stones to create artwork, whether it's painting or piecing with stones. They fully demonstrates their creativity, skills, patience, and talent. Stones are the medium which they showcase their art, and there is a causal relationship between the process of finding stones, Stones themselves are already works of art I think, and they imbue them with souls, allowing everyone to see stories and feel vitality inside them.

Appreciating stone artwork is not just about admiring the final product, but also about recognizing the dedication and passion that goes into creating it. Next time you come across a piece of stone artwork, take a moment to truly appreciate the craftsmanship and artistry that went into creating it. Whether it's a small trinket or a large sculpture, each piece tells a story and reflects the artist's vision and creativity.

Stone art allows us to connect with the natural world in a profound way. By working with materials that are sourced from the earth, stone artists celebrate the beauty of nature and the wonders of the natural world. Whether it's a sculpture inspired by the curves of a river rock or a mosaic that mimics the colors of a sunset, stone art reminds us of the beauty that surrounds us.
